Oregon Brooklyn Optimists has proudly served the Oregon and Brooklyn communities for over 50 years. We are committed to making a difference in the surrounding areas. We focus on empowering individuals to become the best versions of themselves. We are engaged in a variety of services and events to spread optimism through out the community.

The Club is a member of Optimist International, a large, multinational group of service clubs that primarily focus on fostering a spirit of hard work, good citizenship, and philanthropy among the youth. The organization dates back to the early 20th century in Buffalo, New York, where a group of businessmen started the first Optimist Club.
